Paper entries
Printable forms (entry, pledge and team) will be posted on this Race site. Mailed entries must be postmarked on/before April 30, 2010 to guarantee processing before Race day.

NOW is the time to start planning your team for the 2010 Komen Siouxland Race for the Cure. Click here to download a copy of our Team Captain Packet. Our goal this year is 2000 participants and forming TEAMS is the way to get there! A team can be made of five or more family members, friends, coworkers, classmates or any group you may be a part of. Rally around someone you know who was just diagnosed, someone who has fought the battle, or someone who may have lost the battle. Run for future generations in hopes that breast cancer will one day be a thing of the past. Run for their lives. Run for your life. Encourage team members to get creative with your team name and apparel for the Race. Encourage them to recruit additional members and solicit pledges to meet your team goal. And don't forget the team t-shirt contest! Details are in the team captian packet.
Whose Life Are You Running For?
Participate in the 2nd Annual Susan G. Komen Siouxland Race for the Cure® and show everyone whose life you are running for. Are you running for your mother, your sister, a co-worker, a friend? Are you running for your own life? Or are you running for the future? No matter whose life you are running for, now is the time to get involved and run for their life!
All funds from the Komen Race for the Cure go to research, education, screening and treatment programs.
We want 2000 participants at the 2010 Race, so start recruiting your team now! We plan to raise $100,000 with this event and we need your help to reach our goal!

Sleep In for the Cure® Can’t make it to the Race? Would you rather sleep in on Sunday morning? If you'll be out of town on Race day, have a night job, need your beauty sleep, or just do not want to drive downtown, then you can snooze your way to finding a cure by registering to Sleep In for the Cure®! When you register to Sleep in for the Cure®, you’ll receive a Race t-shirt! You can even participate on a team as a Sleep In member!
Proud In The Pew® For those who are committed to the fight to eradicate breast cancer but are unable to attend the Race for the Cure due to religious obligations, show your support and declare yourself "Proud in the Pew". Register and raise money for the Komen for the Cure and we will send a Race t-shirt.
Kids for the Cure® Is a short run open to children under the age of 12. Check the Race Information section for more information about this fun event.
1k Run/Walk A shorter version of our 5k!
Volunteer Komen credits its success to the many outstanding volunteers who share their energy, ideas, talents and enthusiasm. The Race offers dozens of volunteer opportunities during Race week, from handing out water at the Komen Siouxland Race for the Cure®, handing out shirts & bibs. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please check out our Volunteer page. Race volunteers may qualify for "Give A Day. Get A Disney Day."
Pledge Information Friends for the Cure We really encourage participants to seek pledges to help raise additional funds to fight breast cancer. If each participant raised just $100 in pledges from family and friends, we would be able to award $200,000 in the fight against breast cancer. People are always happy to support a worthy cause so you’ll find you can be an incredible fundraiser even if this is your first time. Click here to download a Friend for the Cure form.
